Description
A tweaker can handle multiple sign-off corners for timing/power optimization at a time and tackle specific ECO portions of design, hence, a faster turnaround. It can help in easy ways to pass the ECO changes between the project’s logical team and the physical team. This paper is designed to tackle the challenges of the sign-off timing to achieve a timing clean block with less iteration. The design may have faced failure that needs to be fixed after P & R using minimum design impact. Failure may have been in terms of timing, functional, or physical checks and it can be fixed by inserting cells, sizing cells, cloning cells, and rerouting nets in the ECO phase.
