Our client was a US based leading provider of highly reliable, ruggedized computer and display solutions for mission critical automation and control applications. The client was considering to develop second generation of Industrial Tablet with 10.1″ display size, targeted for Point of Sale and Flash advertisements. They wanted the second generation tablet to be on ARM based design, support secondary display, sensors, custom camera and optimized power consumption. They were looking for a partner who has experience in developing products based on ARM core and at the same time also understand the standards for ruggedized hardware designs.

eInfochips leveraging its strong experience on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon platform, proposed a design based on Snapdragon SDA 600. eInfochips took the complete ownership Hardware design, Firmware development, and Android customization for the rugged tablet design.
