Executive Summary
The client is a leader in developing and manufacturing Li-ion battery energy storage systems suitable for electrification applications (i.e., transportation, construction, and agriculture) and required a rapid turnaround in developing a high-voltage Battery Management System (BMS) for a large-scale project. However, limited expertise in hardware design, low-level firmware, bare-metal development, and BMS algorithms posed significant roadblocks.
To overcome these challenges, the client partnered with eInfochips for the functional design and implementation of BMS features, software/hardware integration & testing, communication protocols and firmware development.
Leveraging eInfochips’ expertise and in-house BMS Center of Excellence (CoE), the client successfully developed a reliable, fully integrated Energy Storage System (ESS) featuring a web-based application for monitoring critical battery SOX parameters. This collaboration enabled the client to meet stringent timelines and launch the innovative ESS solution in the market.
