Executive Summary
The client is a US-based multinational corporation and is a leading global supplier of equipment and components used in oil & gas drilling, production operations, oil field services, and supply chain integration services to the upstream oil and gas industry. The client was using a sensor-based, legacy pipeline testing solution, and they wanted to modernize this using ultrasonic sensors, IoT gateways, and AWS-based dashboards. This modernization was expected to improve the client’s performance by providing greater control and monitoring capabilities through the power of the cloud and IoT.
eInfochips provided smart sensor integration for the pipeline testing solution. This was achieved by using a Mango DVK board with Wi-Fi 6, developing an IoT gateway and application, and creating a cloud-based data management system using AWS.
