Executive Summary
The client, a part of an American telecommunications conglomerate is engaged in creating high-speed, sensor-based smart lighting solutions that help in improving the lighting control and energy efficiency by embedding networking technology. The client wanted to develop a core node to instantly convert LED fixtures into IP-enabled sensory nodes. As part of the network, the core node would provide both the lighting control and cloud-based IoT services. Hence, the client was looking for an engineering partner who could help with the complete design and development of the core node. They also wanted their partner to evaluate their requirements and suggest the best platform for developing the sensory node for smart lighting solution.
eInfochips took the complete ownership of the product development, including hardware and mechanical design, firmware and certification.
