World’s Smallest Wireless Camera

Executive Summary

The client is US based maker of smartest, smallest, simplest, and most powerful camera products. The client wanted to design wearable camera with very small form factor, recording up to 15 mins video at 1920 x 1080 @ 30 fps resolution. This also involved design of Egg shaped device for charging, data storage (can accept 2 camera simultaneously) and transfer the data to other device wirelessly (e.g. smart phone, tablet etc.) for social media sharing purpose.
The client’s in-house team had limited bandwidth, expertise & also time to market pressure was huge. Client selected eInfochips as a design & development partner after seeing its deep experience & expertise in hardware engineering, camera design & so on.
eInfochips helped client right from component selection, hardware prototyping, embedded software development, testing, compliance with IP68 standard to manufacturing of the cameras.
